SafePolyMed featured in local Estonian newspaper
SafePolyMed was featured in an article by the Estonian news outlet "Maaleht." The article was published following an interview with Lili Milani, the team lead for SafePolyMed partner University of Tartu. It discusses initiatives that use artificial intelligence (AI) to improve healthcare.
The article states that SafePolyMed is developing tools for doctors and patients to determine and assess the interactions between medications and genes. This includes creating an evidence-based risk assessment system and a mathematical model for individualizing drug dosages. Prototypes of these tools are developed as electronic aids that can help patients to manage medication use and minimize side effects. The goal is also to better support patients in the management and interpretation of personal health data.
