SafePolyMed Team meets in Leiden for 4th Progress Meeting
On November 14 and 15, the SafePolyMed team came together at Leiden University Medical Centre to discuss the project's progress. The consortium meeting ran one and a half days and provided the group with the opportunity to discuss ongoing and upcoming tasks, evaluate the status of the work packages, and plan for more in-depth cooperation.
On the first day, the focus was on presenting and discussing the preliminary results of the work packages: patient-reported outcomes, patient at risk scores, model-based precision dosing, the planned clinical case study and more was discussed. The second day focused on stakeholder engagement planning. In a collaborative workshop, consortium members discussed the possibilities, risks, strategies and timelines for disseminating and exploiting their key results. How to identify and reach the fitting stakeholder for each result was the focus of the workshop. Finally, Agnes Kant, the director of the pharmacovigilance center Lareb gave an impressive presentation about her daily work. In the following discussion, the consortium was able to discuss pharmacovigilance, patient reporting and ways to improve patient empowerment in more depth.
Following these successful two days, all are looking forward to meeting again in spring 2025 at the fifth progress meeting in Ljubljana.
