SafePolyMed Presented at the EUFEPS Annual Meeting 2026 in Naples

On 28 May 2026, SafePolyMed was represented at the Joint EUFEPS–SITELF Annual Meeting in Naples, Italy, a major European event bringing together researchers, industry representatives, and regulatory experts to discuss the latest advances in pharmaceutical sciences. Coordinator Thorsten Lehr (Saarland University) delivered a presentation on “From Byte to Bedside: PBPK Modeling Networks for Precision Dosing in Polymedicated Patients” during Session 4 on Drug Delivery, organised by the EUFEPS EPRIN Network and the Italian Society of Pharmacology (SIF). The session was co-chaired by SafePolyMed partner Jesse Swen (Leiden University Medical Center), underlining the project’s strong scientific contribution to the conference programme.

The participation of SafePolyMed at the EUFEPS Annual Meeting provided an important opportunity to showcase the project’s progress to the wider pharmaceutical sciences community and to engage with experts working at the forefront of precision medicine and drug development.
